The Lumbar

The Lumbar is a community cocktail bar and kitchen located in the heart of the Pepper Place district in downtown Birmingham. We believe that food and drinks are strong catalysts for science, education, and community mobilization. We celebrate feats in the areas of scientific innovation, community education, and social justice using themed events, lunch and dinner specials, drink menus, and give-back nights.
