Dearly Departed

Are you ready for a good comedy play? Well, “Dearly Departed” will be at Homewood Theatre (in beautiful downtown Homewood, AL) April 3-13 and it’s going to be a laugh riot!
In February, Homewood Theatre brought you “Dearly Beloved”, a play about a wedding gone awry. Now, we bring you an uproarious comedy, “Dearly Departed”, that examines that event that awaits all of us… eventually.
This play follows a beleaguered family that proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy, but always hilarious. Despite their earnest efforts to pull themselves together for their father’s funeral, mounting bills, bouts of excessive eating, and suspected infidelity keep bringing laughs to the solemn occasion. One character finally says to his wife, “When I die, don’t tell nobody. Just bury me in the backyard and tell everybody I left you!” If you’ve ever gotten the giggles at a sensitive time, this show is for you!
Tickets are only $25. So, just below to get yours! https://ci.ovationtix.com/35375/production/1198661
