Girls Rock Birmingham Summer Camp Showcase

Girls Rock Birmingham’s annual summer camp showcase will feature eight camper bands performing original songs in front of a live audience. Girls Rock Birmingham is the only Girls Rock program in Alabama and has expanded enrollment for 2026, allowing nearly 50 girls and gender-expansive youth ages 10–16 to participate. Girls Rock Birmingham is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls, transgender and nonbinary youth through music education, mentorship and creative expression. During camp, participants receive instruction in drums, guitar, bass, keyboard or vocals from a team of women and gender-expansive local music instructors. Campers are placed into groups that form bands and collaborate to write an original song to perform at the end-of-camp showcase. We invite the public to come cheer on our campers as they make their rockstar debuts!
